By teaming with researchers across countries and cultures, we strive to demystify the world of life science, empower today’s children to become tomorrow’s scientific leaders, and deepen society’s appreciation of science and its profound impact on our lives.

Local organizations within communities where Life Technologies has a presence are welcome to apply. "Local" is defined as within a 50 mile radius of a Life Technologies owned or leased facility within the United States.  Potential applicants should view the PDF application and guideline forms to the right-hand side of this page.

The Life Technologies Foundation provides grants in areas such as the advancement of science through public policy initiatives, promotion of science education, and improvement of scientific and medical training.

    Life Technologies announced the creation of the Genomic Cancer Care Alliance to help people battling cancer gain access to treatment options found through analysis of their genomic information. Founding partners include Fox Chase Cancer Center, Scripps Genomic Medicine, and the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen).The announcement came during the Consumer Genetics Conference being held June 2-4 in Boston.
